Welcome to The Advisory Board
With over a thousand Certified Trick Dog Instructors and over 20,000 trick dog titles awarded you are bound to have questions. We have assembled an advisory board to help clarify any questions you have. The mission of the committee is to assist with special projects within DMWYD to help clarify and coach others in the DMWYD program and act as a liaison.

Shelley McQuillin: CTDI, CCFC, SDJ at TriDEx
I grew up showing Boston Terriers and English Bulldogs in Obedience and Conformation. Then I got addicted to agility when it came on the scene. First I ran my Standard Poodle, but then joined the Border Collie junkies. This was how I met my husband, and together we showed agility until our dogs became too old to compete comfortably. That was when we adopted a "short haired mutt who was just going to be our traveling companion." Her adoption fee included a "manners class," so we said "what the heck." OY! That's where I was introduced to trick training and the Do More with Your Dog organization, and the rest is history. I lucked into finding a workshop with Kyra on Stunt Dog Training in September of 2017. I attended the first TriDEx where Mabel earned her Novice and Open titles. At TriDEx 2019, Mabel earned her Trick Dog Championship, Stunt Dog Championship, and I had the honor to judge several stunt dog teams. I have also had the honor to judge teams at shows at the Canine Campus in Hubbard, OH. I have also judged several teams for their Canine Conditioning titles. I love all the positive experiences that Mabel and I have had with all the different outlets of Do More with Your Dog.

Laura’s current rescue, Kassie, has kept her busy while she earned 25+ titles and has worked for over 9 years as a therapy dog. She helped Laura transform as a trainer. Kassie helped embed in her that she personally will always rescue, rehabilitate and celebrate with dogs.
In 2010 Laura started volunteering as a trainer with a local club; teaching AKC S.T.A.R puppy, obedience, AKC CGC and therapy dog preparation. She is the Club’s AKC Family Dog Program Rep and has produced several AKC tests at obedience shows for the group. Laura is certified AKC CGC and ATT. DMWYD CTDI, CDJ & CCFC.
